Music
AJ’s infatuation with music started at an early age. Inspired by the movie The School of Rock, he taught himself to play piano and guitar. His involvement with musical theatre in middle school and high school furthered his appreciation and passion for music. He is currently an Improv Accompanist at SAK Comedy Lab in Orlando, FL, and teaches piano and guitar. He also writes music for his stand-up act, stage shows, and short films.
Theatre
Through middle and high school, AJ took part in community theatre, school shows, summer theatre programs, and served as founding president of his chapter of the International Thespian Society. His time spent at the Players Centre for the Performing Arts in Sarasota shaped him tremendously as both an artist and a person. AJ graduated from the University of Tampa in 2019 with his B.F.A. in Musical Theatre. He has taught theatre privately through arts organizations, and in the public school system.
Comedy
In his last semester of college, AJ co-wrote, directed and produced The 96th Floor Presents: Falk You! , a collection of sketches and songs. During the height of Coronavirus, he wrote and directed a short film about college graduation during the pandemic: The Concept of Specificity.
He started his stand-up career in 2022, in the Central Florida area. Upon relocating to Orlando in 2022, he began his Improv training with SAK Comedy Lab, where he is now an accompanist. He is a member of several improv groups, as both an ensemble player and a music director.
